The story of Sondai is said that many years ago Kandra was a king by king.  It was then that he was ruling his kingdom efficiently.  Then the same goat shepherd reached the hills of Lohtar while grazing goats, then he saw that it was such a beautiful flower.  He was fascinated to see the beauty of that flower and after breaking it, making a necklace and wearing goats, was taking it to his house.  So when the eyes of the king saw the shiny necklace of the goats, the king called the shepherd and asked about that flower, then he showed that place.  So the king was surprised to see that what is the bright flower in such a dark forest.  The king was very happy knowing this.  And he decided to put it in the gate of his citadel and called nine lakh people from Orissa and started digging.  And the excavation was done under the supervision of the king. Many days passed while digging but the root of that tree was not found. Then suddenly there was a flood of water. And all the laborers along with the king got lost in the same cave.  And the queen was also sitting upstairs, she also jumped in that cave and she also got lost. And the spade Rapa Jauha and the king's khadau and clothes came out in Khandighat. And it is also said that the stream here originates at seven places.  Waterfalls of Sondai, Kalasa of Lohtar, Khandighat, Sonai Rupai Talab of Kanker, Waterfalls of Dali, Tipagarh, and Ranidongri.  After getting some more information, I will upload it again.  * Mysterious hill Sondai cave * * situated at the extreme end of the north direction of Kanker district, Sondai's hill has a huge gold deposit according to its name, it is a matter of great surprise that since centuries ago the people here named it Sondai.  While people may not even have realized it at that time.* * Sonadai is the word of Chhattisgarhi language, meaning gold, in Dai Chhatisgarhi the mother is called "Sona Mata"..... the whole area.  For hundreds of years, the local people knew that there is a huge store of gold in this hill.  He used to take the animals to the hill of Sondai.
